Food or Drink Requirements

No alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, open cans, or open-flame food warmers are allowed on Library property.

Permissible beverage containers include spill-proof cups, containers with secure lids, or plastic bottles with a screw top. Patrons are encouraged to consume items that will not leave stains or messes on tables or floors.

Patrons must:         

  • Immediately reports spills or messes to staff.
  • Discard waste properly in trash containers.
  • Leave all areas clean for use by others.

Patrons in violation of this policy will be asked to remove their food and/or drink from the Library. Any unattended food or drink (including sippy cups, food containers, and insulated mugs) will be discarded.
