Vet Chat: Ask a Veterinarian. Dr. Christine Akers joins us today to talk about your furry friend's health, behavior and the world of veterinary medicine in general, which has come a long way in recent decades, rivaling human care and often using the same tools. If you have any questions about your pet's healthcare, issues or behaviors, or If you, or anyone you know, have ever wondered how to get into this field, its various specialties, and the training and education involved, now is your time to ask! She will even bring a critter for demonstration.
