In honor of Earth Day, join Kelly and Julia in repurposing and recycling leftover items into your very own runway outfits. Homemade costumes, trash couture, become a "trash"ion star! Make everyone GO GREEN with envy with your fashion prowess! Kelly, Julia, and some other surprise guests will show you some examples of trash couture leading up to our final "trash"ion show on the 22nd at noon.
All ages welcome!! Final work must be PG.
Please avoid making waste. Remember to use recycled, reused, and repurposed items -- no purchasing items, unless purchased second hand.
To join our Facebook fashion show, please send images to kelly@scottpublib.org with the subject "fashion show." Minors, for legal purposes, please have your parents send us the images. In order for us to use the images on social media, please give us permission in your email.
To be included in our Facebook "trash"ion show, please email us your submissions by April 21st at 4 P.M. Thanks!
