Military History Group: Battle of Midway

The first meeting of a Military History Group will set our direction for the future.  Should we start with the Greeks and Romans?  Should we cover the Civil War?  WW II - especially the Eastern Front between Russia and Germany?  Current battles in Ukraine?

As a suggested format for future meetings, Bruce Gordon will give a brief review of the Battle of Midway and open the floor to discussion of why America won, and how a few minor changes might have given Japan the victory.  Come prepared to offer your own knowledge of history and contribute toward making this an interesting group.
