Learn How to Play Mah Jongg, Part 1.  Mah Jongg is becoming very popular!  Have you been wanting to join in on the fun?  Well, now you can learn all about this tile-matching game in a three-part class.  All MUST attend the first class due to the introduction of suits, tiles, vocabulary, rules, etc. Other classes are optional. 

The objective of the American Mah Jongg game is to be the first player, by drawing and discarding tiles, to match tiles to a specific hand from the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card, which you will need to purchase once you are ready to play on your own.  You will not need your own card for these classes which are free.  In this series you will learn: 1) rules, 2) how to read the NMJL card, 3) how to deal, 4) how to select tiles to pass, 5) how to choose a hand to play, and 6) how to play this fun, brain exercising game!
