To celebrate Black History Month, we celebrate some of the many amazing black artists in history each week of February. 

First Workshop: Basquiat 

Jean-Michel Basquiat was an American artist who rose to success during the 1980s as part of the Neo-expressionism movement.  He is known for the gold crowns that adorn many of his paintings and for collaborative work with Andy Warhol.
