Patron Focus Group.  Would you like to help us direct the future of the Scott County Public Library?  Well, here is your chance!  We have a focus group that is open to our patrons and we want to hear from you.

Chair Yoga is an excellent way to build strength, flexibility, and balance. It is aimed for beginners, but those familiar with yoga are welcome to attend as well. We will do poses seated in a chair as well as standing.

A Novel Idea Book Discussion. Join us the first Wednesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. for this casual book discussion where we read a mixture of everything and talk about the books we love. No registration required.  

AARP Tax Preparation.  The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program will be providing free tax preparation services at the Scott County Public Library in 2026. Tax preparation will occur each Thursday through April 9th.

PRESCHOOL Storytime for children ages 3-6 years is every Thursday during the school year. 

Get your child Ready to Read with Storytime!  Fingerplays, songs, and books together with you and your preschooler.

Kentucky Career Center Onsite at SCPL.  Are you between the ages of 17 and 24 and need some pointers on finding or keeping a job? How about help with applications or resumes?

Knitting 101. Would you like to learn how to knit?  Here is your chance!  We will teach you how to cast on, knit and bind off so you could start a project right away.
