VIRTUAL Unsolved Mysteries: Amelia Earhart. Amelia Earhart remains one of the most enduring representations of courage and mystery and while her accomplishments are phenomenal, the mystery surrounding her disappearance and supposed death remains one of her most enduring legacies. Library assistant Michael leads us through the evidence and explores the mystery of Amelia's disappearance during her challenging world flight in 1937, the theories, the evidence and her legacy. This is the first in an ongoing series.
