Tree Spirits and Wood Wisdom.  Celebrate Tree Week with Thomas Freese, a popular author, artist, and storyteller who will relate true tales of trees and tree spirits.  Mr. Freese has collected lore and intriguing facts about those wonderful companions Native Americans call our Standing Brothers.  From "My Daddy was a Water Witch" to a boy's encounter with a tree spirit in the 1950s, many have strong feelings and attachments to trees and objects crafted of wood.  Mr. Frees will sign and sell copies of Tree Spirits and Wood Wisdom, as well as show samples of his wood craft.
