The Roots of Antisemitism. Dr. Cliff Wargelin, chair of the History Department of Georgetown College, presents an informative examination of the roots of Antisemitism in the later 19th century, early 20th century Europe, focusing on issues such as Russian Anti-Semitic policies, radical right ideologies and movements, the Dreyfus Affair, and generalize cultural Antisemitism throughout Europe and the United States.
This lecture is part of the supporting programming for "Americans and the Holocaust," a traveling exhibit from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the American Library Association.
