A Night with Henry Clay: A Kentucky Chautauqua performance. One of the most widely respected political figures of his day, with a gift for bringing people together and finding a national identity for his country, Henry Clay was a remarkable American and one of Kentucky's most famous residents. Tonight you may travel back in time and meet this charismatic figure who is largely credited with saving his country by allowing it time to prepare for and to endure through the Civil War.
