Join Dr. Knapp of Georgetown College as we celebrate MOLE DAY, a very special day in Chemistry!
Mole Day occurs every October 23 from 6:02am to 6:02pm in honor of Avogadro's Number.
This number - or, a mole - is a basic measuring unit for atoms and molecules discovered by Amedeo Avogadro,
an 18th century Italian scientist. Avogadro's Number is (6.02 x 10^23).
Families can drop by the Children's department between 10 and 1 pm on Sat 22nd.
