Military History Group: Recovered Valor: Military history isn't just epic battles and the machinations of powerful nation states.

It is also the history of the people who served. This discussion will focus on one woman's effort to replace the military insignia that belonged to her grandfather, Army Corporal Dempsey Miracle, as well as resources for researching a family member's service and some Scott County specific military history materials. Bring any military insignia, photographs, and stories of your own family members to share.
