The Folk Harp: A Musical Instrument Workshop

The Folk Harp: A Musical Instrument Workshop.  Local folk harp maker, Davy Clark, brings some of his instrumental creations to the library for a workshop designed as an introduction to this unique instrument.  He will show us how they are made, how they differ from traditional harps, and provide guidance on finding instruments and teachers.  You will get to hear their sound and you can even explore the harps and lyres he brings with your own hands.  If you have ever been interested in this type of instrument, now is the time to learn about it.
