Grandpa Jones: A Chautauqua Event.  Louis Marshall, best known as "Grandpa Jones", was a native of Henderson County, Kentucky and had a 60-year career as a country musician and comic that included radio, vaudeville, television, and the Grand Ole Opry.  He is most recognizable as an original cast member of "Hee Haw" from 1969-1992.  

Join the Scott County Historical Society, in partnership with the Scott County Public Library, for this Chautauqua program made possible by the Kentucky Humanities Council and their generous sponsors.  To close their programming season, the historical society will also be providing dessert.
