Beginning Knitting Part 1: The Knit Stitch. Learn the basics of knitting in this beginner's class that introduces you to the ins and outs of this relaxing craft, including reading a pattern, choosing yarn and needles and the basics knitting itself - casting on, binding off and the knit stitch itself. Participants are encouraged to bring their own needles but yarn will be provided along with needles to use in class for those who do not have their own. Registration is required. Adults only please.
